To celebrate the opening of Canberra Centre’s beautiful Wellness and Beauty Precinct, we visited new cosmetic and skincare store 3INA, where 3INA Maker Emily took us through her tips and trick to achieve two makeup looks, for day and night, that you can rock this season!

DAY TIME – THE NATURAL BEAUTY

Blush:

Choose a light pink colour for a natural flush effect.

Smile and sweep on the apples of cheeks.

Eyes:

Opt for a soft smoky eye in a taupe shade.

Add a metallic eye shadow for shimmer and extra definition.

Apply mascara to the top lashes only to keep eyes looking fresh and open.

Lips:

Keep it natural and dewy by applying a light weight gloss in a natural pink shade.

Set:

Spritz with fixing spray to ensure the entire look stays in place and will hold throughout the day.

NIGHT TIME – TRANSITION INTO THE NIGHT

Contour:

Make sure you tap off excess product from the brush – you can always build up to desired intensity.

Focus on accentuating your features with a warm matte bronze shade.

Blend around the outer perimeter of face for a slimming effect.

Highlighter:

A golden champagne colour is complimentary to many skin tones.

Transition into the night and layer for a poppin’ glow.

Place on tops of cheekbones, nose, chin, cupid’s bow, brow bone and inner corners of eyes.

Eyes:

Create a sultry eye with a dark brown matte shade and blend, blend, blend!

Concentrate more pigment around the outer V crease.

Use a liner brush to smoke under bottom lashes

Use the warmth of your finger to add a cream eyeshadow to the centre of the lids for drama that won’t budge.

Apply a second coat of mascara to top lashes and wriggle onto bottom lashes as well.

Lips:

Finish with a show-stopping bold lip like a deep plum or cool red.
